The Evolution of Green Cleaning

EVO of ECO

What would life be like without soap? We can only imagine... Soap has been around probably longer than written history. The first evidence of soap is a recipe for soap written on a stone tablet in Egypt from 2800BC. That's just a few years less than 5,000 years ago! No one knows an exact date when humans happened upon the formula for soap and started using it to make their lives cleaner.

But we all know we couldn't live comfortably without it.

Between 1900 and 2000 the increase in world population was three times greater than the entire previous history of humanity– an increase from 1.5 to 6.1 billion in just 100 years. The Industrial Revolution caused this and many other maladies our earth has to endure. Life on earth has a balance and that balance is being tipped by too many people.

What can we do? The best we can do is try to be aware of the problems caused by an overpopulated earth. The one thing most of us use in excess on a daily basis, and wash down the drains to mix back into the water system is soap. With more people we use more soap and we put more chemicals from soap manufacturers back into our already polluted water system.

These days soap manufacturers use man made chemicals that speed up the manufacturing processes, or smell nicer, or make more suds that get into our water and soil and pollutes the food all life on earth eats, including us. We started our cleaning company with this awareness. Luckily for us we know Diana Palmar Founder of City Maid Green. She established her own line of cleaning products that are made specifically out of all natural ingredients and do not pollute our environment.

If you haven't thought much about the negative effects we humans have on the only planet we have to live on please start today! This isn't a political agenda, just a mindful effort to persuade thoughtful negotiations in your dealings with soap and our environment.  Thank you and have a pleasant day!
